In 2021, the ＂World Internet Leading Scientific and Technological Achievements Release Event＂ was successfully held.
Cctv news(Reporter Li Wenliang Cao Zhen Deng Yumeng Kan Chunyu): On the afternoon of September 26th, 2021, the "World Internet Leading Scientific and Technological Achievements Release Event" sponsored by the National Internet Information Office and the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province was successfully held in Wuzhen Internet International Convention and Exhibition Center, which was the sixth time to hold the world Internet leading scientific and technological achievements release event.
This launch event is closely related to world internet conference’s "Towards a New Era of Digital Civilization — Work together to build a community of destiny in cyberspace, and build an international platform for world Internet display and communication. A total of 14 leading scientific and technological achievements from China Satellite Navigation System Management Office, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China Telecom, China Mobile, Qualcomm and Anmou were selected for the release.
The "World Internet Leading Scientific and Technological Achievements Release Activity" aims to show the latest scientific and technological achievements in the global Internet field, highlight the extraordinary wisdom of practitioners in the Internet field, and build an all-round innovative exchange platform. Since the announcement in early May, the notice for soliciting results has received extensive attention and positive response from the global Internet field, and more than 300 application results have been collected from China, the United States, Russia, Britain, Italy, Sweden, New Zealand and other countries and regions. The declared achievements focus on five major application fields: industrial empowerment and coordinated development, smart society and public governance, social life and public services, social responsibility and digital public welfare, and high-perception smart life, covering the Internet such as 5G, quantum computing, high-end chips, high-performance computers, network architecture, basic operating systems, satellite Internet applications, industrial Internet and intelligent manufacturing, and many related fields.
Previously, nearly 40 well-known Chinese and foreign experts in the Internet field formed the "Expert Recommendation Committee for World Internet Leading Scientific and Technological Achievements", with Wan Gang, Vice Chairman of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Chairman of Zhi Gong Dang Central Committee and Chairman of China Association for Science and Technology, as honorary director, Wu Hequan, academician of China Academy of Engineering, as Chinese director, and Weiner Zorn, the "father of German Internet" and Internet Hall of Fame winner, as foreign director. According to the principle of "fairness, justice, objectivity and authority" and finally recommended by the expert recommendation committee, the owners of 14 leading scientific and technological achievements in the world Internet this year released their achievements through the event site, and were awarded commemorative trophies and certificates by the world internet conference Organizing Committee.
At the release event, the achievements of five companies, including Microsoft, Loongson Zhongke, Lingxi Technology, Kirin Software and Tianxin Zhixin, were introduced by video as the "Nomination Project of World Internet Leading Scientific and Technological Achievements" in 2021, in order to encourage more scientific and technological talents and enterprises around the world to actively participate in Internet scientific and technological innovation and make unremitting exploration in basic theories, products, technologies and business models, so as to contribute wisdom and strength to the better life and development of mankind in the future.
This launch event has aroused enthusiastic response at home and abroad, and attracted great attention from global scientific and technological fields and netizens.
